Phantasmic

  You are so pretty, but you'll never know,
       wrapped in ignorance, vision all snowed

                fearing the truth that we all know so well,
        and avoiding a heartache that you cannot tell

                 to any within a whisper's reach,
                   for fear that the dam on your heart's tears will breach

         Come to me, let me embrace,
              feel you the caress of my hand, 'cross your face  

 as we block out the world, just you and I,
and I can smile, and you no more cry.
